A motorist who failed to give a blood sample to police found himself in court.
Nicky Lee Griffiths, 37, of Stonegarth, Morton, Carlisle, was caught driving a Vauxhall Astra on the southbound carriageway of the M6 on June 4, without insurance.
He was also driving without a valid licence and later failed to provide a specimen of blood for analysis.
Griffiths admitted all three offences and was given a 12-month driving ban, a 10-week nighttime curfew and ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.
