A TEAM of accountants were joined by a special guest as they trekked Hadrian’s Wall.
As members of Patricia J. Arnold & Co. chartered accountants racked up more than 600 miles between them walking the Hadrian’s Wall Path from Bowness in Cumbria to Wallsend, they were accompanied by Miles the Bear, the mascot of the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
In completing the sponsored walk, the Hexham business raised close to £9,000 for the charity.
Members of the team walked the earlier stages of the Roman Wall in a relay format, but most staff took part in the final leg from the Quayside to Wallsend.
Patricia J. Arnold will hand over the cheque with the final amount to the Great North Air Ambulance Service at its annual Air Angels Ball, in Newcastle on Saturday.
