POLICE are asking for any witnesses of a crash on the A69 on Saturday evening to get in touch.
At around 7pm, officers received a report of a two vehicle collision between a black Renault Clio and another car on the eastbound carriageway of the A69, near Haydon Bridge. Police said the driver of the other vehicle left the scene without stopping.
Nobody was seriously injured but the occupants of the Clio were left badly shaken by the incident.
Enquiries into the collision, and to identify the other vehicle involved, are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log 860 08/06/19.
