A NEW food shop is due to open in a prominent Hexham town centre location.
Food store Grape Tree Health Foods will open on the corner of Market Place, occupied by Carphone Warehouse before it closed in August.
Handbag shop Gino's Accessories briefly took over the premises in November last year, but closed earlier this year.
The new store will create four new jobs and plans to open on Thursday, May 30.
The retailer currently has stores in Carlisle and Dalton Park, County Durham.
