TWO men who were arrested following a disturbance in a Carlisle street are due to appear in court.
They were taken into custody on Monday evening after reports of affray involving six men in South Henry Street.
Andru Florin Radu, 21, of no fixed address, was charged with assaulting a police officer and a public order offence.
Daniel Belehuta, also 21 and of no fixed address, was charged with criminal damage.
Both have been released on bail and are due to appear at North and West Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Carlisle on June 4.
Several police vehicles were called to the scene. No one was seriously injured.
