A MAN who drove a Lamborghini whilst disqualified from driving has been fined more than £4,000.
Courtney Clift (38) of Redhouse Barns, Belsay, appeared at Newcastle Magistrates Court on Thursday, May 16.
He was found guilty of one count of driving whilst disqualified and two counts of driving without insurance. He also pleaded guilty to another charge of driving whilst disqualified, which related to an incident on December 22 when he drove a Lamborghini Aventador. A third charge of driving without insurance was dismissed.
Clift was fined £4,032, ordered to pay costs of £705, a victim surcharge of £10, and was disqualified from driving for 12 months.
