A WOMAN who went missing at the weekend was found safe and well in Tynedale.
On Friday, Northumbria Police received a report that a 53-year-old woman was missing from the Whitley Bay area and officers had reason to believe she had been spotted in the Hexham area.
A spokesman for the police said that officers carried out of a search of the area and the missing woman was located safe and well in the Hexham area.
