A MAN has been banned from driving for a year after pleading guilty to drink driving.
Michael Hughes (38) of Braeside, Lambley, appeared at South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court on Thursday. He pleaded guilty to one charge of driving when over the legal alcohol limit. He was fined £330, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £33 and costs of £85, as well as his driving ban.
The charge related to an incident in Hexham on March 22.
