Motorists speeding through Corbridge have received warnings about their driving from the parish council chairman.
At the March meeting, chairman Coun. Marc Horn spoke of his anger that some people had been driving in excess of 65mph through the village, as registered on three speed activated signs.
Coun. Horn then reported at the April meeting that he had spoken to some drivers who had broken the 30mph limit. “I have spoken to one or two speeding individuals and they were quite shocked they had been caught, ” he said.
