TWO leading agricultural specialists have cemented their strong relationship.

Chartered surveyors, land agents and property consultants, YoungsRPS, will open offices within Hexham and Northern Auction Marts with the intention of providing an accessible service farmers and rural businesses who regularly attend the mart.

The joint venture will provide a platform to support farmers within an active mart environment they feel at home in, effectively bringing the professional services of a land agency closer to the farmers they serve.

Robbie Hutchinson, managing director of YoungsRPS, said: “We have been in discussions with Hexham Mart for some considerable time and are delighted that they have concluded that we are the best partner for them to offer a full professional service to their customers.We, for our part, are of course keen to tap into the passing trade in the mart.”

Open on weekdays, the Hexham Mart office will be staffed full-time by Youngs director Charles Raine and chartered surveyor Harry Morshead. They will be supported by Matthew Wallace, who is also a chartered surveyor for the company.
