TYNEDALE basked in the heat over the Easter weekend as temperatures soared above 20C.
The hottest temperatures were recorded on Saturday, when Hexham was warmer than Barcelona, hitting 21C.
And the dry, bright and warm conditions extended to Sunday to mark a sunny Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
With Haltwhistle's outdoor pool opening for spring on Saturday, crowds flocked to the pool in their bathing suits to make the most of the sunshine.
The Met Office said the warm weather was set to continue on Monday, with temperatures peaking at 18C.
