A MOTORIST has been banned for 12 months after pleading guilty to drink driving. Jake Kieran (19), from Albemarle Barracks, appeared at South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, April 4.
The charge related to an incident on March 5 on Grey Street, Newcastle, where he had 41 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35mg. He was also ordered to pay a £215 fine, £85 costs, and £35 victim surcharge.
