A MAN has received a 12-week suspended prison sentence after breaching a restraining order.
Lee Nicholson, of St Helen’s Street, Corbridge, appeared before South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court on Friday, where he pleaded guilty to one count of harassment by breach of a restraining order.
The court heard that on December 3, Nicholson telephoned, emailed and posted a letter which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order granted on November 13.
The 29-year-old was also ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
