A MOTORIST has been fined £300 after pleading guilty to drink driving.
Allana Millar (23) of New Ridley Road, Stocksfield, appeared at South East Northumberland Magistrates Court on Thursday, March 21.
She faced one charge of driving a motor vehicle when above the legal limit for alcohol.
The charge related to an incident on February 20 on the A695 in West Mickley, where Millar was found to have 57mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mg.
Millar was fined £300 and ordered to pay costs of £80 and a victim surcharge of £30.
She was also banned from driving for 15 months, although taking part in a drink driver rehabilitation course could reduce this by 15 weeks.
