POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a digger was stolen from an address in Riding Mill.
At 10am on Monday, police received a report that a small digger had been taken.
It has since been found in Durham.
Officers are now eager to hear from any members of the public who saw anything suspicious in the area. They believe the digger was taken at around 4pm on Sunday, March 17.
