A MOTORIST has been banned from driving for 12 months after he was found with traces of cannabis in his blood. Lewis Francis (24) of Heatherslaw Farm, Stamfordham, pleaded guilty on Thursday at South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court to driving in Ponteland in October with a proportion of a controlled drug in his system.
He was ordered to pay a £40 victim surcharge and £30 costs.
