A MAN caused criminal damage to the value of £2,000 at Slaley Hall hotel.
David De Costa (31) of no fixed abode, appeared at South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court last Thursday. He was charged with damaging a TV, lamps and causing cigarette damage at the hotel on February 16. He pleaded guilty and received a 12-month community order, and was ordered to pay £2,000 compensation, an £85 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £40 fine.
