A WOMAN has been banned from driving for 16 months after pleading guilty to one charge of drink driving.
Gyna Maria Webb (51) of Lonkley Terrace, Allendale, appeared at South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court on Thursday last week.
She faced a charge of driving while above the legal alcohol limit.
The charge relates to an incident on February 9 on the B6295 near Allenheads when she was driving a Smart car and had 58 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Webb pleaded guilty to the charge and was banned from driving for 16 months.
The driving ban will be reduced by 16 weeks after she accepted a drink driving rehabilitation course.
She was also ordered to pay a £120 fine, £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
