THE heavy rainfall at the weekend forced a tanker off the A68.
The vehicle came off the road near Rochester on Saturday afternoon, causing substantial damage to an adjacent wall.
The tanker was retrieved from the roadside on Monday afternoon by Glendinning's of Prudhoe, with the busy road closed for a large chunk of the afternoon.
