CHOSEN as one of the first in the UK to trial a 30-hour funding scheme, a Tynedale nursery has shared its findings with the rest of the country.

Little Tinklers Nursery, based in Corbridge, was asked to contribute to the first early years education section of the Parliamentary Review.

The annual review is a series of publications which includes political commentary from journalists, secretaries of state, ministers and MPs, and aims to share the experiences of top performing organisations across the country.

In the piece written by Little Tinklers owner Georgina Lester, the effects the free 30 hours of nursery education has had on its children is explained in detail. She said: “We are delighted to be involved in this year’s Parliamentary Review and we hope our story is read widely.”

As well as featuring in the review, Georgina will visit Westminster on Tuesday.
