A HMRC application for the forfeiture of £44,000 seized from a Horsley man has been granted by a court.
£53,120 was seized from William Pearcy Collard (49) of Horsley Banks Farm under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
However, the court approved a forfeiture of £44,000 of the seized cash at a hearing on Thursday, March 7.
The case was adjourned from an earlier hearing on January 9, when Collard opposed the application.
