JOB satisfaction rates highly at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
In a nationwide NHS staff survey, Northumbria ranked second out of 86 acute trusts and sixth overall from a total of 163.
Based on a record 72 per cent participation rate – almost double the average – the results shows that Northumbria staff feel listened to, are highly motivated and are engaged with their work.
Sir Jim Mackey, chief executive at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We are absolutely delighted with these results.
“To rank best in the country in two out of ten categories is simply fantastic and is a testament to how every single member of staff has played their part to the full. To come so close in four others is even better – not least as it gives us something to aim for next time!”
