THE Dalek outside Allendale’s sci-fi museum facing extermination by county planners has been given two more weeks.
Council officials were due to decide its future on Monday, but the deadline was pushed back, much to museum owner Neil Cole’s delight.
Some 60 people visited the museum on Monday to show their support for the Dalek, which has been under threat since a complaint was raised by a parish councillor, because it did not have planning permission.
