STAFF at a Prudhoe business rallied together to donate hundreds of pounds worth of food to people in need.
Prudhoe-based business, PCCA Ltd, formerly known as the Specials Laboratory, organised a collection across its three sites in the North-East with more than 70 members of staff taking part. As a result, the specialist pharmaceutical company donated more than £300 worth of food to the West Northumberland Food Bank, which has bases in Hexham, Haltwhistle and Prudhoe.
Jan Armstrong, head of sales and marketing at PCCA Ltd said: “Giving back to the community is hugely important to us, especially to those most in need.
“We’re very happy to give this donation to the West Northumberland Food Bank, and are continuing our charitable efforts into the new year with more fund-raising planned for local charities.”
