FIREFIGHTERS carried out tests on police cars following reports that chemicals had been thrown on to the vehicles in an East Yorkshire town.
Humberside Fire & Rescue Service said no harmful chemicals were found during the tests on the cars in Estcourt Terrace, Goole, yesterday.
"Police were advised to wash vehicles down with water,"said a spokesman."There was no further action by the fire service."
