A HEXHAM-BASED property valuer has been promoted to associate after more than a decade and a half with the firm.

YoungsRPS, which offers a wide range of management and professional services in land, housing and commercial properties, has announced that estate agent Kim Harrison has been promoted to the new role.

The introduction of an associate as part of its management team, is the latest development for YoungsRPS, which has expanded its offices in Northumberland over the last 12 months to meet the growing demand for its services.

Kim has worked for YoungsRPS for more than 15 years and is a highly experienced and qualified member of the National Association of Estate Agents.

She started her career within the industry as a sales negotiator, before progressing to valuer/manager at the YoungsRPS office in Hexham.

During her time with the firm, Kim has helped strengthen the company’s presence in the North-East property market; been instrumental in raising the profile of the business, and has increased the number of sales and turnover.

Her work has allowed her to develop an excellent understanding of both the industry and the property market in the Hexham and Tyne Valley area where she has practised for much of her career.

Kim said: “I am thrilled to accept the role as associate and I would like to thank the directors for their support and recognition.

“My aim is to continue developing the services we offer and to further strengthen our position within the areas we operate. I am looking forward to working with the teams in all of our estate agency divisions in a supportive role, helping them to implement best practice, to expand and evolve.”

Robbie Hutchinson, YoungsRPS managing director, added: “I am absolutely delighted that Kim has been appointed as the company’s first Associate and it is certainly very well deserved.

“The performance of the Hexham agency team under Kim’s leadership has been outstanding.”
