A MAN has been found guilty of assault, obstructing a police officer in execution of duty and criminal damage.
Joseph Rumney (44), of Saint Pauls' Road, Hexham, pleaded not guilty to all three charges which took place between May 31 and October 14 last year and stood trial Newcastle Magistrates' Court last Thursday.
He will appear at North Tyneside Magistrates' Court on Friday, February 1, for sentencing.
