A BYRNESS woman has denied a string of cruelty charges against more than 100 animals.
Lynn Stoker, of Raw House Farm, appeared at South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court, at Bedlington, on Tuesday accused of 15 animal welfare offences which are alleged to have happened between February and May last year.
The charges relate to dozens of dogs, cats and a tortoise.
The 62-year-old is accused of 11 charges of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal and four charges of failing to ensure an animal’s welfare needs were met.
Stoker was granted unconditional bail until July 26 when she will re-appear before South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court.
