TWO teenagers from Haltwhistle have starred on national television.
Brothers Ruben and Jenson Copley, who are 15 and 13 respectively, appeared on CITV’s game show Spy School last Wednesday.
The show sees budding spies go undercover with a recurring team of super spies, who then compete in a series of challenges against the clock.
Their mum, Jane, explained that Ruben, who attends Razamataz Theatre School in Carlisle, applied for the show while on holiday last August.
She added: “We had two weekends away in London courtesy of CITV.
“We were over the moon because a lot of children apply, and they had a brilliant time.
“We couldn’t announce that they were going on until the day it was on.
“They didn’t graduate spy school though, they missed out by about 10 seconds.”
