TWO men have been charged with burglary following the theft of a quad bike from Haltwhistle.
James Waggot (27) and Shaun Murray (39), both from Crook, were arrested in Alston by officers from Northumbria and Cumbria Police.
A spokeswoman for Northumbria Police said: “On December 30, 2018, police located a suspected stolen quad bike that had been taken earlier that day.
“Two men were arrested and subsequently charged with burglary and are due to appear before magistrates in Bedlington on January 31.”
