A HEXHAM man has walked free from court after his case was dismissed.
Robert Latty (28) of Woodlands Lodge, Hexham, was accused of harassment without violence.
The alleged offences took place between September 14 and October 14 last year, with Latty accused of demanding money from a victim.
However, Latty pleaded not guilty to the charges and the case was dismissed following a trial on January 2.
However, he was given a restraining order on acquittal. Latty must not contact the victim, or enter their street.
