HELP is on hand for people struggling with an addiction.
A group of trained volunteers from different churches along the Tyne Valley is holding free weekly sessions for people with addictions to drugs, alcohol, pornography, sex, gambling, self-harming, social media, food issues or any compulsive behaviour.
The Recovery Course (Tyne Valley) is free of charge and will be hosted at Hexham Community Church, in Beaumont Street, on Wednesday evenings between 6.45pm and 9.30pm. The first session will take place next week.
Volunteers are made up from various religious dominations including Anglican, Methodist, Pentecostal, Roman Catholic and Charismatic.
The sessions are open to people living outside of the Tyne Valley. More details are available at recoverytynevalley@gmail.com
