A PRUDHOE man has been ordered to pay thousands of pounds in compensation and handed a suspended prison sentence after pleading guilty to two charges of fraud.
Craig Swinburn (39), of Masters Crescent, pleaded guilty to two charges of fraud by false representation, after he fraudulently authorised and obtained goods on behalf of a company.
The charges related to incidents between April 5 and 6, 2018, and April 4, 2018.
Swinburn appeared at Bedlington Magistrates Court on Thursday, January 3.
He was ordered to pay £3,500 compensation, and given a 10 week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months.
