A COPY-CAT hosepipe home attack was reported in Haltwhistle on Saturday night.

The incident follows an attack on a house in Prudhoe which left the bottom floor inches deep in water two weeks ago. Neighbourhood Inspector Pam Bridges said: “Luckily this time the incident wasn’t malicious and nothing was damaged.

“These types of incidents are no joke and can cause unnecessary panic and alarm to home owners. I urge the public to consider their actions and how they might impact people in the community.”
