A WOMAN has been banned from driving for 20 months after she was found to be more than twice the legal alcohol limit.

Patricia Goodwin (58), of Muddle House, Slaley appeared at South Northumberland Magistrates Court on Thursday, December 6. Goodwin pleaded guilty to drink driving on the A69 near Bywell, on November 14.

A breath test found she had 85mg of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35mg. She was fined £120 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £80 in costs.
