Police tape used to cordon off an incident
A WOMAN has been fined after letting her son play truant from school.
At Newcastle Magistrates Court on Friday, December 6, Michelle Clark (36), of Beaumont Terrace, Prudhoe was fined for being the parent of a child who regularly failed to attend school.
Clark was the parent of a 14-year-old child who missed school on a number of occasions between February 19 and June 8 this year.
She was fined £220 and ordered to pay court costs of £130.
