Northumberland fire appliance.
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a report of a fire at a Hexham school on Thursday evening.
Appliances from Hexham, Prudhoe and Tyne & Wear attended a small fire in the roof space at Hexham Middle School at 4.25pm.
The fire was quickly extinguished and the school was open as usual on Friday morning.
