A LOCAL business has partnered with Brownies and Scouts to provide festive cheer this Christmas.
Egger (UK), based on Hexham’s Anick Road, invited members of the 3rd Hexham Brownies and the 1st Hexham Cub Scouts to create their own unique designs to be incorporated on the banner of the Christmas tree the company provides as a centrepiece in the Market Place.
Over 45 children took part, resulting in a range of drawings ranging from scenes of Christmas carols to those including a Christmas Pikachu.
Hayley Armstrong, the leader at the Cub Scouts, said: “It was lovely to be a part of the Hexham Christmas tree banner. The group had great fun using their imaginations to come up with these designs.”
Brownie leader Andrea Jackson said: “The girls had a great time creating the artwork and can’t wait to show their families and friends.”
