A FASHION show by a national clothing chain will raise funds for a Hexham charity.

The town’s branch of M&CO will hold the event on Wednesday, December 5, at its Fore Street base, with all proceeds from ticket sales going to Lifespan charity.

The store is currently looking for young models to show off its children’s range on the evening.

In addition to enjoying the fashion show, which starts at 6pm, there will be drinks and nibbles on offer, and special discounts on clothing.

The event will follow the charity’s festive fund-raiser at Stocksfield Community Centre on December 1, with stalls and refreshments to go alongside Christmas songs from local schoolchildren.

Nici Dodd, Lifespan’s fund-raising officer, said: “In order to raise vital funds for Lifespan, many events are organised throughout the year and there are so many ways that you could help.

“From attending our events, volunteering to run a stall at an event or nominating Lifespan at your work for charity of the month or the year, we are open to all of your ideas, from people of all ages. If there is an idea that you have to raise some money, then Lifespan would be very keen to hear more and to support you.”

Tickets for the fashion show are available by contacting Lifespan on (01434) 622398 or email: fundraising@lifespanteam.org.uk
