A television production company is calling on the people of Haltwhistle for a new TV show, intriguingly entitled DNA Clinic.
London-based Shine TV, which has produced MasterChef, Hunted and The Island, has sent out a plea for people in the Tynedale town to get in touch if they're interested in starring in its latest project.
The programme will be a documentary following people as they go through the process of paternity, maternity, sibling or kinship testing at a DNA clinic.
A spokesman for Shine TV said Haltwhistle had been chosen as a target town as it was three-and-a-half hours away from Blackpool, where the pilot broadcast will take place.
Anybody interested in taking part of the show is asked to contact (0207) 483 6742 or dna@shine.tv.
