AN inquest into the death of a 16-year-old boy from Hexham has been opened.
Teenager Jack Reed Cawood, a pupil at the town’s Queen Elizabeth High School, was found dead at a property on Scott Close at around 6pm last Wednesday.
Police confirmed they received reports of concern for the teenager, and officers attended the scene along with the emergency services.
Jack was pronounced dead at the scene. There is not believed to be any third party involvement.
