Northumberland's favourite detective has been spotted in Blanchland this morning.
Filming for the new series of ITV drama 'Vera', actress Brendra Blethyn turned out in the detective's trademark hat and overcoat whilst leaving her famous blue Land Rover
Around 200 cast and crew were in the village to film scenes at the Abbey and the converted post office.
The show's stars have been pictured around the North-East since filming for the Northumberland-based drama began in the summer.
