A CRASH between two vehicles left a North Tyne road closed for almost two hours.

Nobody is believed to have been seriously injured in the collision, which took place on a minor road off the B6320 near Bellingham.

A spokeswoman for Northumbria Police said: "At 2.25pm police received a report of a road traffic collision involving two cars on a minor road off the B6320 in Bellingham.
"Emergency services attended the scene. Nobody is believed to have suffered any serious injuries.
"The road was closed for around two hours and has since been cleared."
