Motorists delayed after accident
RUSH hour motorists faced slight delays on Wednesday morning after a crash on the A69 at Hexham.
Two vehicles travelling westbound collided at the entrance to the Bridge End roundabout at 7.50am, adding 15 minutes on to people's journey as the busy road was resduced to one lane.
Nobody was injured in the accident and the vehicles were removed from the scene just before 9am. The road was fully reopened shortly afterwards.
