THE district’s largest employer is on the look-out for more recruits.
Egger, in Hexham, is holding an apprenticeship open day at its plant on Thursday, November 8.
The event is open to potential candidates, teachers and parents wanting to find out more about career opportunities at Egger.
The firm’s apprenticeship programmes lead to Level 2 or 3 NVQ qualifications, with some of its exceptional graduates going on to achieve degrees.
In the coming year, Egger has apprenticeships available in the following areas: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, business administration and laboratory technician.
Due to manufacturing requirements, entry to the apprenticeship open day is by prior appointment only by calling (01434) 613374.
