A Haltwhistle man is to appear in court following a robbery at the town's post office.
A MAN is due to appear in court following a robbery in Haltwhistle.
Police said they received a report of a robbery at Haltwhistle post office at 9.30am on Monday, September 10.
Stephen Jarvis (20) of Greenholme Road, Haltwhistle, was arrested following the incident.
He appeared at Bedlington Magistrates Court on Tuesday, September 11, and was released on conditional bail.
He is due to appear before Newcastle Crown Court on Tuesday October 9, charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article.
