STOCKSFIELD is in for two-days of food and drink delight with both Stocksfield Beer Festival and Stocksfield Food Festival set to entice flocks of hungry and thirsty guests to the events.

Stocksfield Cricket Club will be hosting the beer festival, where there will be stalls offering twelve different local ales and a range of food, all safe from the rain under a giant marque. Cider and gin bars are also being set up for those who fancy variety on the day. Live music can also be expected from local band The Fountains.

Stocksfield Food Festival will serving up a range of edible delights at the Stocksfield Sports Field, all of which are provided by local businesses and produced in Northumberland. Traditional cakes from The Pudding Parlour, home-made jam from Mrs B's Kitchen and Indian Cuisine from Samosa House are just some of the stalls which will be available in the marque on the day.

Stocksfield Beer Festival will take place on September 07 and tickets can be bought at the Cricket Club after 7pm.

Stocksfield Food Festival will take place September 08 and admission is free.
