The heritage site, which is now maintained by The Northumbrian Jacobite Society, will be open by prior appointment each afternoon between Saturday and Friday, by kind permission of Cambian Dilston College, which owns the site
This will be a repeat, by popular request, of a well attended series of openings in August.
Visitors will be given an introductory talk and a guided tour of the atmospheric remains of the historic home of the Dyvelston, Tyndale, Claxton and Radcliffe families.
The buildings comprise a 15th century tower house with Elizabethan additions and a very rare restored Catholic recusant chapel dating from the early 17th century, where an exhibition on the 1715 Jacobite Rising will include associated objects never seen elsewhere on public display.
Bookings by individuals and small groups must be made in advance by contacting Northumbrian Jacobite Society president, John Nicholls, on (01573) 470746.
