A CORBRIDGE man is to stand trial accused of harassment and criminal damage.

Lee Nicholson, of St Helen’s Street, appeared before Newcastle Magistrates’ Court on August 8 to face one charge of harassment without violence and one charge of criminal damage to property.

The criminal damage charge relates to four car tyres which were allegedly damaged.

Nicholson (28), had pleaded not guilty to both charges at a previous hearing in June.

He was remanded on conditional bail by the magistrates until September 21, when he will face trial on both of the charges at Newcastle Magistrates’ Court.
