Summer sport
AS winter drags interminably on through Tynedale, we thought it might be appropriate to provide a taste of summer with this shot of Tynedale Cricket Club 2nd XI, dating back to the 1970s.
The line-up outside the clubhouse at Prior’s Flat in Hexham, is (back row, from left) Philip Herdman, Graham Nevitte, Eddie Coulson, Dick Holt, David Mason and Ian Thompson.
At the front are John Darling, Brian Bell, Terry Darling, Stephen Lishman and Don Hill.
The only one we cannot identify at this stage is the scorer. Can anyone help?
